DuPont Pioneer Commercial and Parent Soybean Seed Facility

Challenge met

Alberici tackled the project by leveraging its expertise as a construction manager and collaborating closely with DuPont Pioneer’s project team and various subcontractors and suppliers. To address the proximity to the New Madrid Fault, the team worked with structural engineers to implement seismic reinforcements, including aggregate piers and special uplift steel connections, ensuring the facility’s stability. Despite heavy rains, Alberici’s efficient management and coordination allowed the project to be completed on time, meeting the crucial soybean harvest deadline. The successful outcome led to additional projects being awarded to Alberici by DuPont Pioneer in both New Madrid and Hermiston, Oregon.
