Challenge met
To address these challenges, Alberici executed a comprehensive strategy. Upgrades encompassed various aspects of the facility, including biological reactor basins, odor control facilities, clarifiers, pumping stations, and electrical buildings. Alberici phased the construction, facilitating multiple outages, tie-ins, and process transitions within the operational plant. Maintaining plant operations was paramount, requiring strategic coordination with operators.
Alberici’s proactive approach included self-performing critical work including concrete, process piping and process equipment, yard piping, and electrical ductbanks, which ensure tight control over quality, schedule, and ongoing plant operation. By adeptly managing process changes and maintaining coordination, Alberici successfully navigated the complexities of construction while keeping the plant operational. The project concluded with the facility meeting its upgraded standards, enhancing its capabilities for efficient and compliant wastewater treatment.
