Kristin Kalous Named Among St. Louis Region’s Most Influential Business Women of 2024 

Kristin Kalous, Market Leader at Alberici, has been recognized as one of St. Louis’ Most Influential Business Women of 2024. With almost 23 years of experience at Alberici, Kristin has steadily risen through the ranks, beginning as an intern in 2002.  

Kristin’s leadership has been pivotal in driving success on some of the region’s most iconic projects, including the Saint Louis Zoo’s WildCare Park, the Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden, and Mercy’s New Center for Performance Medicine in Creve Coeur. During her first years as a Market Leader, she successfully managed the construction of the CITYPARK Stadium and Downtown West Campus, and expertly procured steel before prices surged, ultimately saving the stadium $750,000.  

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kristin is deeply committed to supporting women in the construction industry. She founded and serves as the executive sponsor of Alberici’s Greater Relationship Opportunities for Women (GROW), an employee resource group dedicated to empowering women so they rise, learn, and thrive at Alberici and in their careers. Additionally, she is a member of the U.S Minority Contractors Association and participates in Alberici’s College Recruiting Committee. 

Her dedication also extends to the local community. She is a Glennon Ambassador and serves on the committee for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital’s largest fundraiser, Glennon LIVE, which has raised over $10 million in the past three years to support the hospital’s needs.
