Hillsdale Fabricators Celebrate 65 Years of Steel Fabrication

Hillsdale Fabricators, the steel division of Alberici, is celebrating 65 years of providing structural steel fabrication and erection for complex projects across the country.

Established in 1958, Hillsdale Fabricators was created when one of Alberici’s steel suppliers began falling behind schedule on a project. As a result, Alberici fabricated the steel by hand in its own warehouse and completed the project five days ahead of schedule.

Today, Hillsdale Fabricators works with many major contractors to deliver a wide range of fabrication and erection projects including power plants, automotive and industrial manufacturing facilities, sports venues, airports, bridges, flood control structures and commercial buildings. As a result, the company has built a reputation for executing with quality, safety and trust – on time and within budget.

Hillsdale Fabricators operates a 250,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fabrication shop, 40,000-square-foot environmentally controlled paint space and over 50 acres yard storage. The steel fabricator also manages a river yard on the Mississippi River, allowing the company to preassemble and ship steel by barge to project sites.
