Greg Hesser spearheads the executive leadership team for Alberici Constructors. Greg started his career at the St. Louis-based public accounting firm Wolfe Nilges Nahorski, Pc. He served Alberici as Controller, Vice President of Corporate Finance, and Chief Financial Officer from 2004 to 2011 and then in the dual role of President and Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, Greg was named President and CEO of Alberici Constructors.
Professional
Greg feels fortunate to work with great people every day as they work together to find solutions that will affect their lives and the lives of others. He sees Alberici’s core business–construction of hospitals, automotive plants, water treatment facilities, power generation, and others–as a chance to improve lives. The real magic, he says, is not the construction, but what happens inside these buildings once Alberici’s work is finished.
Personal
Greg jokes that he points out to his family the structures Alberici has built and what really happens within them. Sometimes, he says he gets the response, “We know, Dad. This is the 10th time you’ve told us.”
Greg is an avid cyclist, a hobby he picked up in 2012. He now enjoys riding for fitness and often participates in charity rides across the U.S. with co-workers.
