Job Description
Alberici is currently accepting applications for General Foremen with experience working on large construction jobsites. The General Foremen role is essential and assists the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of construction projects
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and communicate contract documents, drawings, and specifications to crews
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily self-perform work activities
- Lead and direct foremen and craft workers to meet production, quality, and schedule goals
- Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and material needs with the Superintendent
- Track daily production and report progress, constraints, and manpower needs
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance, including LOTO procedures
- Conduct daily job hazard analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks
- Maintain quality control of installed work and address deficiencies
- Interface with other trades, subcontractors, and field supervision
- Mentor and develop foremen and craft employees
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant trade experience with supervisory responsibility
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage daily work plans independently
- Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods
- Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and work plans
- Effective communication and leadership skills
