Alberici and St. Louis Contractors Unite for Tornado Recovery

On May 16, a powerful tornado struck St. Louis, damaging thousands of buildings, blocking roads, and leaving communities in urgent need of support.
In response, local contractors have rallied together in close coordination with the City of St. Louis, to clear debris, restore infrastructure, and help residents rebuild.
Kristin Kalous, Vice President and Market Leader, led Alberici’s coordination with industry partners and local officials. “Alberici’s been in the St. Louis community for over 100 years. So when we got the call to help with this disaster, we jumped right in immediately,” she said.
Working closely with the local officials, contractors continue to meet daily to direct materials, volunteers, and machinery to priority areas. The city still needs donations of tarps, 2×4 lumber, and plywood, as well as skilled volunteers. Visit the City of St. Louis tornado relief page for more details.
