Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Sterling Heights, Michigan, United States
Helping Fiat Chrysler launch their next best-selling vehicle

A reliable partner for when it matters most
Alberici worked in a variety of roles at FCA’s Sterling Heights Assembly Plant to support the 2019 DT program for launch of the next generation Ram Truck. The project included turnkey installation of all equipment in the 425,000-square-foot south paint shop with J-CO America, a global leader in automotive painting systems. Alberici also provided fabrication, equipment installation, and overall site management on this major vehicle launch program.

Marshalling resources to ensure on-time delivery
To support the massive project, Alberici mobilized automotive specialists from various offices throughout the U.S. and Canada, including 20 full-time management professionals ranging from project directors through site superintendents and safety managers. Alberici also self-performed key scopes of work and coordinated more than 800 craft workers across multiple shifts.

Perfect timing
Much of the project team transitioned directly from FCA’s Belvidere, Illinois plant, where they had recently completed construction of the successful 2017 KL Program. Both projects featured similar scope, including installation of roll test machines, overhead steel, end-of-arm tools, and fuel fill equipment. By using the same staff on these projects, we significantly reduced the learning curve and enhanced productivity among craft personnel.
