Molson Coors Canada is pleased to announce that the company has selected a partnership comprised of Pomerleau Inc. and Alberici Constructors, Ltd. (Pomerleau-Alberici) as the design-builder for the new brewery in Longueuil. The construction of this modern brewery is anticipated to be completed by 2021.
”Today’s announcement marks a significant step towards the implementation of the most important investment made by our business in the province of Quebec since its foundation,” said President and Chief Executive Officer of Molson Coors Canada Frederic Landtmeters. “We are particularly proud to partner with this joint-venture which has the expertise and the ability to successfully manage large-scale projects.”
All three companies have been founded by visionary entrepreneurs with strong values. From generation to generation these shared values have been passed. As of today, Molson Coors and Pomerleau-Alberici have distinguished themselves both locally and globally as leaders in their respective industries.
“We are proud to have the chance to work on a design-build project of this magnitude, especially considering that it is a Montreal flagship and historic project. We have chosen the best partner for this joint venture since Alberici has state-of-the-art expertise in the construction of breweries.” said Pierre Pomerleau, President and CEO of Pomerleau.
A work in progress
Within the next few months, we will be undertaking various streams of work to move this project forward including the finalization of our site layout as well as the site infrastructure where our future building will be constructed. An official groundbreaking ceremony will kick off the construction of our new brewery later this fall.
