As the daughter of two engineers, it was natural for Katy to take an interest in construction. Growing up in the St. Louis area, she was familiar with Alberici’s good reputation and came to work for the company after graduating with a degree in architectural engineering.
Katy’s first project was the massive MOX Fuel Fabrication Facility
at the US Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site in South Carolina. Though she was drawn to the complexity of the project, Katy most enjoyed working with the great group of people on the Alberici team.
Outside of work, Katy enjoys traveling, volleyball and spending time outdoors. While travelling for projects, she enjoys exploring her new neighborhoods and local volleyball leagues, which allow her to meet new people.
