John Alberici Honored by the Moles

John Alberici received the Outstanding Achievement in Construction Award from The Moles, a heavy construction group. This prestigious award is given annually and recognizes outstanding ability and accomplishment in the Heavy Construction field.

John received the award at a banquet on January 25 in New York City. Multiple representatives from Alberici and Flintco were also in attendance.

The Moles were founded in October 1936 when a small group of heavy construction workers had a reunion in Jersey City. The Moles was selected as an appropriate name and membership was open to all members of the engineering and construction professions including those supplying materials to the field.

Created in 1941, The Moles’ Award recognizes outstanding achievements in heavy construction by two men – one a Moles member and one a non-member. As a non-member, John’s award includes a lifetime honorary membership in The Moles. Past non-member recipients include giants of the U.S. construction industry. Former President Herbert Hoover, Peter Kiewit, Stephen Bechtel, Harry W. Morrison, Lou Perini and Guy F. Atkinson were among previous recipients.
