Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Molson Coors Canada Brewery

On October 19, 2018, Greg Brokenshire participated in the groundbreaking ceremony marking the beginning of construction work for the Molson Coors new brewery and distribution centre in Longueuil, Quebec. The ceremony kicks off construction for Molson Coors’ most modern brewery facility and distribution centre to date, with construction scheduled to be completed in 2021.

Joining him was Pierre Pomerleau, President & CEO of Pomerleau; Frederic Landtmeters, President and CEO of Molson Coors Canada; Matthew Hook, Molson Coors Canada’s Supply Chain Executive; Andrew Molson, Director of Molson Coors; Geoff Molson, Vice Chairman of the board of Molson Coors; Sylvie Parent, the Mayor of Longueil; and Ian Lafrenière, deputy for the Montreal-area Vachon.

Pomerleau-Alberici, a partnership between Pomerleau and Alberici Constructors, has been selected to lead the design and construction of the project. There will be approximately 500-800 workers on site during the total duration of the project.
