The Technology Building at the Monsanto Chesterfield Campus had their ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday December 1, 2017 with over 350 people in attendance. The “Celebration of Innovation” program included Hugh Grant, Chairman and CEO Monsanto Company and The Honorable Governor Eric R. Greitens among the speakers.
The Technology building, completed on schedule in spite of challenges, is an notable achievement for the Alberici project team. It will be a center for research for generations to “increase innovation and enable greater collaboration” between scientists as they work to enhance the world’s agricultural production.
The building is 400,000 square feetwith 250 labs and achieved LEED Gold certification. Alberici also built a 105,000-square-foot greenhouse facility on Monsanto’s campus, which opened in 2016.
