Following an extended break due to COVID-19, Alberici is proud to announce that Alberici University classes are set to resume on Friday, September 18, 2020.
Recently celebrating its 20-year anniversary, the Alberici University training program is a central component of Alberici’s long-term, proactive approach to establishing a more inclusive subcontractor and supplier base. This innovative program offers free classes where participants work side-by-side with members of the Alberici team to develop skills that are critical to success in the construction industry. Topics include estimating, bid preparation, labor productivity, human resources, and project safety.
“Alberici University is a creative way of building capacity among our diverse subcontractors and suppliers while giving back to the communities in which we live and work,” said Alberici Diversity Manager Precious Jackson. “Alberici has a deep, long-term commitment to developing growth among small and disadvantaged businesses in the area, including minority, women, and veteran-owned construction firms.”
Classes are typically held at 11:00 a.m. on the third Friday of each month at Alberici’s headquarters in St. Louis. Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, remaining classes for 2020 will be held virtually and a Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
For more information about the remaining 2020 session or to register for the class of 2021, please contact Precious Jackson.
