Alberici was proud to host MoDOT’s 2017 Construction Career day at our facilities in Hilldale, Missouri. MoDOT had nearly 300 students from St. Louis area schools that attended the event, mainly juniors and seniors.
After a presentation on construction careers and a safety talk, the students went on an Alberici-guided tour of the Kienlen Office Renovation, the Mechanics Shop, the Warehouse/Yard, and the Fabrication Shop where they learned about the many different trades that work in those areas. The tour ended in an area with several trade vendors and suppliers where students could learn more about opportunities and how to enter the construction industry.
