Alberici is routinely ranked among the nation’s top civil constructors. For more than 60 years, we have provided economical solutions for major civil programs with complex technical challenges, budgetary restrictions and wide-ranging public involvement.
In the last ten years alone, Alberici has completed more than $2 billion in improvements on North American inland waterways. Our experience includes the construction and renovation of bridges, locks, dams, levees, ports, dock facilities and hydroelectric power plants. Many of our projects involve cofferdam installation, long-span steel erection and complex foundations, including mass concrete placement, pile driving and deep soil mixing. We are also skilled in the construction of airports, hangars, interchanges and rail infrastructure.
Alberici’s extensive craft workforce and fleet of construction equipment allows us to self-perform critical project components, such as steel fabrication and erection, structural concrete, heavy rigging and marine services. We have a 10-acre port facility on the Mississippi River for barge shipping, modularization, staging and prefabrication of critical components. These assets uniquely position our team to execute complex construction projects with precision and reliability.
Understanding the importance of flexibility, Alberici works with owner’s engineer and utilizes relationships with experienced engineering firms to construct projects using alternative delivery methods. These include construction management-at-risk, design-build and public-private partnerships (PPP).
Regardless of delivery method, Alberici is committed to working closely with our clients to achieve budget and schedule objectives while maintaining our high standards for safety and quality.
