St. Louis, MO (September 16, 2005) – Alberici Corporation announced today that Robert F. McCoole will retire as president of Alberici Group after 23 years with the company.
“I have had the fortunate opportunity to oversee considerable organizational growth and change. I set out to redefine the company culture, make safety a top corporate priority, and provide comprehensive construction services to our clients. Those goals are nearly accomplished,” said Robert F. McCoole. “I have loved working at and representing Alberici every day of my association. Over the years, we’ve had remarkable results and the challenges that go with them. We have instilled an expectation in our culture for each of us to continuously assess how we can best contribute to the success of Alberici. With this in mind, I believe others I have brought into this company are better suited to meet Alberici’s future needs. I have great confidence in the new team and have decided it is time to let them take charge,” said McCoole. He will continue to serve on the Board of Directors of Alberici Group.
As president of Alberici Group, McCoole provided strategic direction to enterprises at Alberici to ensure a common commitment to excellence, integrity, and passion for quality work. Today Alberici has grown to where it has a backlog of work valued at $1.4 billion

The skills and talents required to lead Alberici must focus on management, controls and execution. Those talents are well represented in two key individuals, so concurrently with Bob’s retirement we are announcing that Mike Stoecker, in addition to his duties as President of Gunther-Nash will take on the added responsibilities as President of Alberici Group, Inc. and Greg Kozicz, in addition to his duties as President of Alberici Constructors, Inc. will take on the added responsibilities as President of Alberici Corporation.
