Alberici Names New General Manager for Michigan Office

St. Louis, MO (October 26, 2006) – Alberici Constructors announced today the promotion of Mark Okroy to Vice President/General Manager of the Great Lakes Region office located in Livonia, Michigan.  Mr. Okroy, who joined Alberici in 1994, will continue to lead the automotive business unit for Alberici Constructors, in addition to his new duties.

In announcing Mr. Okroy’s promotion, Greg Kozicz, President of Alberici Constructors, stated “Under Mark’s continued leadership, our Great Lakes Regional office will continue to service our existing clients in the automotive sector and we have plans to expand into other sectors such as bio-fuels, power generation and other heavy construction markets”.  Recently, Alberici successfully completed the GM Lansing Delta Township Assembly Complex which was awarded “The Project Leadership Award for 2006” by the Construction Owners Association of America.

Alberici currently has a backlog of work of more than $1.7 billion which is the highest ever in the history of the company.  This backlog of work includes projects in the Great Lakes Region and other projects involving staff from the region.  “One of Alberici’s real strengths is the breadth of talent that our project people have,” Kozicz said, “I am very proud of the fact that, in addition to their ongoing work with traditional clients, our Great Lakes Region staff are running key projects for Alberici, including the steel erection package for the new Indianapolis Colts retractable roof stadium and a bio-diesel plant for Australian Ethanol Limited."
