Seasonal internships and co-ops at Alberici provide exciting opportunities for college students to gain on-the-job experience in many different aspects of the construction industry. An Alberici internship or co-op is the training ground for future success.
Alberici interns and co-op students are challenged on a variety of construction projects. Carnegie Mellon Senior, Andrew Bongiovanni, felt this internship gave him the tools he would need to tackle projects with Alberici Constructors upon graduation. “I received hands-on experience in all aspects of project management and was given real responsibilities, not busy-work. This internship helped me learn far more than what I learned in school, teaching me real-world application and confidence.” Upon graduation, Andrew accepted an offer of full-time employment and now works for Alberici as a Project Engineer.
Students experience a wide range of project management responsibilities during their time at Alberici while working with some of the key employees in the company. And when the day is done, they are rewarded for their hard work: they receive not only a paycheck but the understanding they are part of a legacy that has been growing and evolving as a major player in the construction industry for over ninety years.
