Alberici Constructors is pleased to announce the acquisition of WWPS, an Atlanta-based construction firm specializing in water and wastewater facilities.  The newly combined firms will continue to focus and expand on the construction of water and wastewater facilities in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area and the Southeastern United States.

WWPS was founded by Keith and Lisa Willis in 1997 and has worked primarily in the greater Atlanta area completing projects at many of the city’s water/wastewater treatment facilities, in addition to several municipal projects.  Keith Willis will join Alberici as the General Manager of the Southeast region, as well as continuing his lead role for WWPS.  Lisa Willis will continue as President and majority owner of Willis Professional Services (WPS), a certified woman-owned business enterprise (WBE).

WWPS has been recognized for its outstanding partnering achievements, and was recently presented a “2008 Aon Build America Merit Award” in the “Environmental-New" category for the Weracoba Creek Water Quality Improvement Project in Columbus, Georgia.  "The Aon Build America Awards recognize the nation's premier projects, large and small, from across the country." said AGC CEO Stephen E.
